You've got questions. Fair.
"I've had a twisty before and it gummed up. Why would this be different?"
We won't pretend it never builds up. Anything that burns material leaves residue. The difference is how easy it is to deal with. The tube, spiral and caps come apart by hand, and a soak in warm soapy water brings it back. Rinse every few sessions and the spiral keeps turning.
"Is it a pain to load?"
Only if you leave the spiral in. Take the spiral out first, fill the tube, then twist it back in. It takes seconds, and one fill covers several draws.
"Will it survive my pocket?"
It's a capped metal body built to ride next to your keys, not a thin glass tube.
"Does it keep the smell in?"
Honestly, no tool with a draw hole is airtight. The caps keep it tidy in your pocket, but they aren't a seal. For storing material, use a proper sealed container.
Simple mechanics. Nothing to charge.
One tube, one spiral, two caps. Here's what each part does.

A spiral inside the tube
The inner spiral works like a tiny auger, holding material in its threads.

A short turn moves it forward
Twist the base a little and fresh material moves up to the tip.

A counter-twist clears it
Turn it the other way and the spiral pushes what's left out the front.

Everything comes apart
Tube, spiral and caps separate by hand, so cleaning takes a minute.
Finally, a pocket tool that does one job well.
No batteries, no apps, no gimmicks. Just a well-made twist chamber that goes where you go.
Four steps. Under a minute.

Unscrew
Twist the spiral out of the tube.

Fill
Fill the tube. Don't pack it tight; leave room for air.

Twist
Screw the spiral back in. Give it a short turn before each draw.
Clear & rinse
Counter-twist to clear. Rinse the parts every few sessions.
Four parts. That's it.
Chamber tube
Holds the material.
Twist spiral
Moves it forward and clears it out.
End cap
Keeps the front tidy.
End cap
Keeps the back tidy.

Let's clear a few things up
A good twist chamber never needs cleaning.
Anything that burns material leaves residue. A good one is easy to clean, and this one comes apart by hand.
You need a special cleaning kit.
Warm soapy water and a small brush do the job. Use isopropyl alcohol for heavy buildup.
The caps make it smell-proof.
They keep it tidy, not airtight. Use a sealed container for storage.
Twist tools are fiddly to load.
Take the spiral out first, then fill. It takes seconds.
Pocket tools have to be bulky.
The NanoTwist is roughly key-sized and rides next to them.
Still wondering?
How do I clean it?
Unscrew the spiral, pull off the caps, and soak the parts in warm soapy water (or isopropyl alcohol for heavy buildup). Brush the spiral, rinse and let it dry before you put it back together.
What is it made of?
A metal body with a twist-out spiral and end caps.
Can I pick different colours in one pack?
Each pack comes in one finish. Want a mix? Add separate packs in different colours.
